37 ° C is no longer normal body temperature.

The human body is intriguing, it changes constantly and over the years we notice many changes that we considered to be normal, but doctors have already. The norm for blood pressure has changed, and now it is good to know that the normal body temperature is not 37 degrees.

More than 150 years ago, doctors in Germany analyzed the body temperature of more than 25,000 patients. The study concluded that the normal body temperature of each person is considered to be 37 degrees. Modern studies, however, show different values and very different results.

For some time now, we have been thinking that 37 degrees is too high a value to be considered normal, and German doctors were born 150 years ago. New data from Stanford University believe that at that time the body temperature was higher and the exact reason for this has not been established.

Over the years, it has dropped and today the average normal temperature per person is almost 36.4 degrees. To that end, Stanford scientists analyzed the results of 680,000 temperature measurements on a total of 190,000 patients over a 100-year period. In addition, it should be noted that the temperature varies depending on which human part of the body is measured. For example, measuring the temperature in the ear can show higher values of 0.5 degrees in comparison, if we measure the temperature below. And again, these would mean that you have to spend for these processes.
