A powerful sandstorm hit Ankara, there are casualties.

Six people were injured after a fierce sandstorm hit the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Saturday. An impressive video shared by the city hall shows a large beige cloud of dust enveloping buildings.

Another video, posted on social media by Turkey's General Directorate of Meteorology, shows massive clouds of dust hanging over homes in the capital, struck by lightning.

Since the end of last month, the city has been battling drought and very hot flashes.
