Navalny with the first picture after the poisoning: I breathe on my own, I recommend it.

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has published the first photo of the hospital after being poisoned by a newcomer.

He posted a photo with his wife and children on Instagram. Beneath it, he writes that he can finally breathe on his own.

"Hello, it's Navalny. I miss you. It's still hard for me to do something, but yesterday I was able to breathe on my own all day ... I liked it a lot. It's amazing, it's underestimated by many people. I recommend it," reads the profile photo. of the opposition.

Yesterday, the German government announced that laboratories in France and Sweden had confirmed Berlin's findings that Navalny had been poisoned by a newcomer.

A few days ago, Germany referred the case to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

The 44-year-old Kremlin critic and anti-corruption activist fell ill after boarding a plane in Siberia. He was later hospitalized in Berlin. Germany claims there is evidence that Navalny was poisoned with a newcomer, but Moscow responds that doctors have not found traces of the poison.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the attack was likely to have been ordered by senior Russian officials, a statement the Kremlin denounced as "unacceptable."

It became clear yesterday that Navalny's allies have won seats in the local vote in Russia.
