Engineers from the Designworks studio of the German car manufacturer BMW have created an electric wing suit. It allows the wearer to fly at 300 km / h.
The interesting invention has already been tested under specific conditions. And during his first public demonstration, the costume allowed stuntman Peter Salzman to cross the Del Brüder mountain peaks in the Austrian Alps.
It is not yet clear whether BMW will ever start producing this suit for a wide audience. For now, the invention looks largely like a PR campaign for the latest electric SUV iX3.
