They killed a man who asked passengers on a bus to put on a mask.

A 53-year-old man was killed for asking bus passengers to wear protective masks. This was announced by RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the Interior Ministry of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

The body of the man killed with a knife was found on the evening of November 17, it turned out to be the deputy director of a research certification center.

According to investigators, he was returning after work on a bus, where a dispute arose with two other passengers - a man and a woman, who asked to put on masks.

"The verbal argument turned into a hand-to-hand fight, which continued on the street. As a result, the 53-year-old man was wounded with a knife, from which he died", the press service said.

The two suspects in the crime were detained - a 40-year-old man and his 34-year-old acquaintance, both from the Orenburg region.
