A man was arrested after walking on the wing of a plane.

A man was arrested over the weekend after boarding an Alaska Airlines flight at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. The plane is full of passengers and is preparing to take off for Portland on Saturday afternoon when the man approaches it.

The pilots noticed him and called the police, who, however, did not arrive in time to stop him from boarding the wing of the plane. "Our first reaction was, 'Uh, who is this man?' Is this a terrorist activity?” Erin Evans, a passenger on the plane, told ABC News on Sunday.

A video taken by passengers shows the man walking on the wing of the plane, taking off his shoes and socks for better traction and sitting down. The cabin crew instructed the passengers to stay in their seats during the accident, according to T + L.

The man spent about 45 minutes on the wing of the machine, with law enforcement using the emergency exits from the cab to capture him. The plane is under full inspection before taking off, Alaska Airlines told Travel + Leisure on Monday.

The man was taken to the University Medical Center with minor injuries and then transported to the local prison. Police suspect he jumped a fence at the airport. The investigation is ongoing.
